Sephardi Man
About the Job
Male, Late 20's–50s. A religious Sephardi Jew, meaning his family background comes from Middle Eastern, North African, Persian, Syrian, Moroccan, Iraqi, or similar Jewish communities rather than Eastern European/Ashkenazi communities. He is warm, confident, and observant, but often feels like the broader Orthodox conversation is framed through an Ashkenazi lens. He is not angry, but he notices when his customs, pronunciation, or culture are treated like a side category instead of simply another authentic Jewish path.
